Hoe Grange Holidays The Champion of Champions

18/10/2017
Farm Stay members Hoe Grange Holidays based in Derbyshire’s Peak District scooped the coveted overall “Champion of Champions” Award as well as the hard-fought “Best Rural Tourism Business” Award at the Rural Business Awards 2017 at a glitzy awards ceremony. A working farm with beef cattle and sheep, which diversified into self-catering accommodation in 2006, Hoe Grange Holidays prides itself on being accessible and eco-friendly, having identified a lack of suitable holiday accommodation for those with mobility challenges or visual impairments.

Commenting on their awards success, David and Felicity Brown, Owners of Hoe Grange Holidays said: “We started out as a family run farm, but spotted an opportunity to diversify our business and offer a positive experience for people to enjoy in the Derbyshire countryside. To have our success acknowledged at the Rural Business Awards is testament to all our hard work and to the people who have supported us along the way. We love to promote other local rural businesses and use sustainable, economically friendly materials so we see the Rural Business Awards as the ultimate recognition for rural enterprises all over the country. It’s obviously a great honour to be named as overall Champion of Champions at this year’s ceremony and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for our business.”

Hoe Grange Holidays offers 4 cosy log cabins, and 2 gorgeous glamping pods with ensuite facilities, amid stunning Peak District landscape. The accommodation is dog-friendly with wonderful walks from the door and you can even bring your own horse on holiday to explore the off-road bridleways. New for 2018 is a locked cycle shed so guests can bring their bicycles and rest assured that they are safely and securely stored.
