HAMPSHIRE - Take a trip with Farm Stay to the home county of Charles Dickens and Jane Austen.

Farm Stay offers a wide range of B&B accommodation as well as self-catering cottages and glamping on farms throughout Hampshire.

There are a variety of activities ranging from visiting Winchester Cathedral to Jane Austen's House in Chawton or possibly a walk down the famous Clarendon Way. Portsmouth's Historic Dockyard, the National Trust properties and the Watercress Steam Line Railway are also popular attractions that visitors tend to spend their time visiting during their stay.

The New Forest and the South Downs are two "Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty" and perfect places for dog walking. The New Forest offers a stunning mix of woodland, gorse, and heathland, with deer and New Forest ponies a common sight. The South Downs, starting at Winchester, provide miles of dog-walking with beautiful scenery- a climb up St. Catherine’s hill has views over the whole of the historic City of Winchester and the imposing cathedral.

Associations with both Charles Dickens and Jane Austen, Hampshire has quintessentially English scenery, all criss-crossed with bridleways and dog-accessible walks.

In southern Hampshire there are multiple beaches, such as Leape beach where there is also a country park and a great play area for kids, as well as a cafe. Milford-on-Sea which is another long shingle beach with character beach huts that line the beachfront.
