Welcome To Leicestershire

19/07/2017
Why not stay on a farm in Leicestershire.  Rural Leicestershire, in the East Midlands, with colourful Leicester at its hub, is one of England’s loveliest central counties with excellent travel connections to all parts of the country.  This is the county for a relaxing farm holiday! Leicestershire, with its “Squires and Spires”, combines history, heritage, leisure, arts, and museums for family fun and the great outdoors.

We have B & B farmhouses, as well as Self-Catering cottages and glamping. Bed & Breakfast in Leicestershire (the home of the famous Melton Mowbray Pork Pie) will often include locally sourced produce, and eggs from happy hens on the farm.

If you prefer Self Catering, then look no further - there is usually a lovely village pub not far away, if you want some time off from cooking. Get away from it all and relax in these special Farm Stay properties.

If you want to go shopping, then Highcross Shopping Centre in Leicester is a must. Country walks can be part of your quiet break, and some self-catering property owners welcome your pets.  East Leicestershire is a very secret part of Leicestershire, where miles of country lanes abound.

Although Leicestershire in not a 'hotspot' for tourism, it is about as centrally placed in England as you can get. Families and friends can meet up from north, south, east and west - as they often do.  They say that Leicestershire is a county you need to go to, rather than one you might choose to go to for a holiday.  See you soon!
