There is Shotover Country park offering nearly 200 acres of varied landscape and spectactular views. Or how about a circular walk from Kidlington?  Taking in  the ruins of the manor house at Hampton Gay, with views across the floodplain, the walk visits the tiny hamlet of Thrupp and along the Oxford canal towards Annie's Tea Room, with 2 dog friendly pubs also en route.
