Largest Mechanical Puppet coming to Cornwall

24/07/2016
The largest mechanical puppet ever created in this Country starts a tour of Cornwall on Monday, 25th July, 2016.
Known as the Man Engine, the part man, part machine puppet will make its first appearance in Cornwall in the beautiful Tamar Valley at the area of outstanding beauty known as Kit Hill during the afternoon.
The Man Engine will travel some 130 miles in 2 weeks, attend 20 events and stop at all 10 Cornish mining heritage sites before reaching its final destination at St. Just on August 6th.
The puppet is some 4.5 metres high in crawling position, it will extend to over 10 metres in height after some serious encouragement!
Why not incorporate a visit to see the Man Engine with your Farm Stay holiday to Cornwall over the next couple of weeks?  For further information, visit www.themanengine.org.uk
