Cornwall is famed for its fantastic beaches - which are bound to be a hit with your dog!A good point to note is that if the Coast Path crosses a beach then it is usually a dog friendly beach, i.e. no restrictions between Easter and September as is often the case.
Watergate Bay - Lots of rock pools to explore and two miles of golden sand that is sure to tire out even the most energetic of dogs!
Mother Ivey's Bay is a picturesque and pleasant sandy beach which lies in a sheltered bay on the North Coast of Cornwall. Due to the lack of amenities the beach stays relatively quiet even in peak summer times which is ideal for throwing your dogs’ ball as far as you can without disturbing the tourists
Lankidden Cove really is the archetypal Cornish cove.
This hidden cove is best reached via a hike along the coast path from Kennack Sands over a mile away. This ensures that it is always quiet and more often than not completely deserted. Set at the bottom of a steep track the water is turquoise and the gently sloping sand is broken up by various large rocky outcrops.
