We invite you to our charming cottage set in 3 acres, surrounded by glorious woodlands and farmland. Situated only 2.5 miles from Bromsgrove and the picturesque village of Chaddesley Corbett, and just 5 miles from the M5/M42.  Whether you are making a brief one-night stop or staying for longer, we aim to make your visit a relaxing and pleasurable experience.

Originally 2 farm labourers cottages built in approximately 1860, Overwood offers peaceful accommodation with quick access to the Midlands road and rail systems, Birmingham Airport and the NEC. Within easy reach are Worcester, Malvern and the Three Counties Showground, Kidderminster and Wyre Forest, The Cotswolds, Vale of Evesham, and Stratford upon Avon.

We offer friendly hospitality, very comfortably furnished and well equipped rooms with luxurious beds. Enjoy a delicious freshly cooked breakfast, using locally cured bacon and sausages, freshly laid eggs from our own free range hens, fresh fruit and homemade preserves using our own or local seasonal fruit whenever possible.  A fridge and microwave are available for your use, particularly useful for our business guests. There is a good choice of local pubs nearby offering good quality food to suit most pockets and tastes.

Our informal gardens and the surrounding land abound with all kinds of birdlife and wildlife. On a summer evening at dusk you can see bats hunting for insects and later listen to the hooting owls.

On our doorstep and nearby there is plenty of excellent walking in Dodford and Chaddesley Woods (nature reserve), the Clent Hills and The Lickeys. Around Bromsgrove we have canals, Avoncroft Museum of Buildings, The Jinney Ring Craft Centre at Hanbury, renowned garden centre - Webbs of Wychbold, delightful gardens open to the public, and many other places of interest to visit.
