Crosslands is situated 5 miles south of Hawkshead in the Rusland Valley between Coniston water and Windermere. From the farmhouse and several walks through unspoilt countryside. There is plenty of parking space. Sitting areas in the garden where you can enjoy the lovely views. The Farmhouse is dated from 1645 with many original features but with modern facilities. A hearty breakfast is served in the dining room with flag floors and original beams.

Leave the M6 at Junction 36
Follow the Windermere road for approx 3 miles
Then TURN LEFT onto the A590
Stay on the A590.
You will go through Newby Bridge ( sat nav takes you off here ) then through Backarrow
Just past Backbarrow still the dual carriage way there is a Steam Railway on the right
At the next junction after that TURN RIGHT It is a crossroads. Signs for Grizedale and Rusland
1/2 mile TURN RIGHT at a T junction
Follow the signs for Grizedale and Rusland.
At the next junction TURN LEFT. DO NOT GO STRAIGHT AHEAD!!
From here you will go through a wood for about 1 1/2 miles. Stay on this road when you come out of the wood you will see a Georgian mansion across the fields on the left.
Stay on the this road DO NOT TURN LEFT AT THE NEXT JUNCTION
You will go through a farm
1/2 mile after the farm there is a Y junction.
TURN RIGHT here
Go up the small hill and We are the White Farmhouse facing you
