Welcome to our award winning 4 star Silver accommodation with breakfast award. Enjoy a tea tray on arrival in our guests lounge or in the garden where you can relax and savour the views over the Devon and Cornwall countryside.

Breakfast is served in the dining room where there is a varied menu to select from. Local produce is a speciality and includes our Gold award local butchers sausages and the local Cornish dry cured bacon.

Our accommodation consists of three well appointed en-suite rooms , all colour co-ordinated and with stunning views. Each room is fully equipped with televisions, clock radios, a hairdryer, plus an assortment of beverages. In the en-suites you will find Co-ordinated towels and toiletries from our local Kit Herberry which include soaps, shower gel and moisture lotions, and bath robes.

Free WIFI is available. Higher Woodley is an ideal base for touring Devon and Cornwall with Dartmoor very close by, NT properties, The Eden Project and many beautiful gardens. We are 3.5 miles from the historic town of Tavistock with it's craft and antique market, tennis courts, swimming pool and cinema. There are also many inns and restaurants near by.     The Peach Room

 The peach room has double bed with spacious en-suite  with a bath and shower and a range of toiletrieslocally made from Kitt Harberry. The room is colour co-ordinated, the facilities include a flat screen television, wifi and a wide range of tea and coffee. This room has a double aspect and the Views  extend over the Devon countryside to Cornwall.

A doulbe room for single occupancy is from £50.00.

We charge an extra £5.00 supplement for a one night stay.

    Twin En-Suite 

    Blue Room

The blue room is our twin room en-suite room with walk in shower facilities and views over thegarden. The beds zip and link to make a large superking size bed. The blue room is ; co-ordinated with blue and white furnishings, fully equipped with flat screen television, wifi a range of teas and coffee, and fresh flowers. The blue  room is next to our peach room and together they make an ideal family room.

 

The tariff for single occupancy is from  50.00

The Red room is reached by its own staircase and is the only room on this side of the house.  The room has it's own character with original beams and has views over the garden and into Cornwall with kit Hill in the distance. The Red room has a well equipped en-suite bathroom  with a walk in shower.

car arrival: From the M5 take the A30 Okehampton to Tavistock rd. At Sourton take the A390 Tavistock to Callinton road, leaving Tavistock travel along this road to Gulworthy roundabout , (yellow slowing down lines on road) school is on the left, turn right signposted, Chipshop (Inn) An inn where the miners use to exchange their hard earnes chips for goods. and The 'Horn of Plenty', at the Copperpenny Inn, Chipshop turn immediately left, continue down this road for approx 1/2 a mile then turn right signposted Higher Woodley Farm, Our farm is again approx 1/2 a mile down this lane on the right. There is ample level gravel parking. We look forward to welcoming you.
