North Buckham Farm is a family beef/sheep farm. Guests are welcome to meet the farm animals, feed the chickens, collect eggs and from April to July help feed orphan lambs. We also have a working collie dog, farm cats and a horse.
The farm is only 20 minutes from West Bay harbour on the coast. The Dorset coastline is known as the Jurassic coast due to its abundance of fossils and fossil hunting is popular. We have panoramic views and there are wonderful walks inland and along the beautiful coastline.
Beaminster, a characterful old market town, is 2 miles away and has an interesting selection of mainly independant shops. There are lots of eateries nearby from good pub grub to award winning restaurants.
