Newlands Hall is a 380 acre working farm, situated between the Villages of Wolsingham and Frosterley in Weardale County Durham, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Newlands Hall has a really peaceful setting and enjoys some of the magnificent and unspoilt views that Weardale can offer. Rich in wild life the farm is at the centre of a network of local footpaths.
Glimpse into Weardales past at the highly acclaimed Weardale Museum at Ireshopeburn.
Visit High House Chapel, the oldest purpose built Methodist Chapel in continuous weekly use since its foundation in 1760.
Enjoy a leisurely ride on the Weardale Railway between Wolsingham and Stanhope.
A visit to the Dale would not be complete without a visit to Killhope Wheel and Lead Mining Centre, to sample the harsh reality of life in a 19-century mine, and follow the nature trail and see the Red Squirrels.
Relax in the lounge with inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove.
The bedrooms are south facing with some stunning views of Weardale and the Elephant trees. Each room has a colour television, tea/coffee facilities, hair dryer, radio alarm, central heating and mini fridge.
