Overlooking the Vale of York Hazelwood Farm has three purpose built guest rooms which all face south to benefit from the incredible views across rolling farmland, with York Minster in the distance towering over the historic city of York.

All rooms are ensuite with bath/shower facilities. The bedrooms are tastefully furnished with all comforts provided including bathrobes, a well stocked hospitality tray with homemade biscuits, flat screen wall mounted tvs with Freeview channels, and heavy curtains and blinds to make it all snug!

Two bedrooms have superking beds (which can be made into twin beds) and the third bedroom has a king size Hypnos bed with wool and cashmere mattress for ultimate comfort. The bathrooms are stocked with the Be Kind range of organic shampoo and shower gel and fluffy towels complement your bath time experience!

We have a sunny south facing dining room where a comprehensive breakfast of fresh fruits, cereals, yogurts, juices, pastries, and a variety of homemade "specials" such as plums poached in orange juice with cinnamon, breakfast granola bars, and rhubarb from the garden served with Greek yogurt and honey is served daily between 0800 and 0945. And of course a "reet proper Yarkshire" breakfast is served too to set you up for the day, with the eggs from our own happy hens and the sausages from the pigs reared next door!

Returning after a busy day exploring the glorious local villages, or visiting the many National Trust properties you can relax on the south facing terrace in the sunshine or chill in our parlour with a glass of complementary sherry or Port and some glossy magazines. The local area is scattrered with beautiful little Yorkshire villages full of character, National Trust properties, excellent and interesting walks and cycle routes, award winning inns and restaurants, and of course the historic city of York with it's Roman walls and famous racecourse.

Further afield to explore is the stunning Yorkshire coast with the resorts of Scarborough, Whitby and Filey, the Yorkshire Dales and Herriot country, the North York Moors, and easily accesible by train from York the vibrant metropolis of Leeds with it's excellent shops and restaurants and live music scene.
