The Lee Farm is a working livestock farm which our family have farmed for more than 130 years. Part of the Duke of Northumberlands Estate it lies south west of Rothbury and enjoys panoramic views over open countryside.
Ideally located for visiting Northumberlands many attractions including National Trust properties of Cragside & Wallington, Alnwick Castle & Gardens, the beautiful heritage coast, the Roman Wall and Kielder Water to name but a few!
A warm welcome awaits with a welcome cup of tea or coffee and homemade biscuits or cake. Guests have exclusive use of a comfortable lounge with log fire ( which is lit in winter months). A large colour telvision and a selection of books and magazines will help you to relax and unwind.If you prefer you can sit in the conservatory and enjoy views over the well maintained walled garden.
All of the bedrooms are decorated to a high standard and have everything you should need for a comfortable stay. Two rooms have en-suite shower rooms with luxury toiletries and large fluffy towels and the third has a private bathroom with bath & shower.
Delicious Aga cooked breakfasts are served in the dining room. Local produce including famous Craster kippers, award winning sausages from our local butchers and free range eggs are used. Along with homemade bread and preserves.
Guests are more than welcome to look around the farm. Lambing time is a great attraction.( Mid March - May) You may even get to feed a lamb or even assist with the birth ( if you so wish!).
Ample safe parking on gravel in the walled garden.
