The city being a short four mile journey away, which can be easily made by the local tram/bus system.

Rooms are cosy and comfortable, with welcome trays and home made cakes. A full English locally sourced breakfast is available to those wishing to have a hearty start to the day alternatively a lighter continental menu can be served.

Ideally situated for visiting Nottingham and it's Robin Hood country, the DH Lawrence centre and Newstead Abbey. Derbyshire is also within easy reach with marvellous Chatsworth House, Bolsover Castle and its many historical and beautiful sights.

Food is available within walking distance at the village pub for lunches and evening meals, and there are a wide variety of other restaurants including the night life of Nottingham with a short drive.
