our 1820's home has oak stairs which lead to the 3 guests bed rooms all en-suite or with private bathroom. 2 bathrooms are new for the 2011 season. The rooms are large and comfortably furnished. With all the usual extras: Tv's with free view or digital TV, hot drinks facilities Hair dryers , access to Wi-fi etc.
Breakfast usually a relaxed time is served in a seperate dining room. For breakfast we serve mainly home grown and local produce with home made jams and Marmalade. Choose from celection of ceriels, fruit, fruit juices, followed by the freshly cooked breakfast of your choice. Drinks and toast. For the evening we have several good pubs nearby.
Haynall Villa is less than a mile from the A456, Burford to Woofferton road along a quiet lane and set back with ample space to park.
Set in the Teme Valley, the farmhouse has a large attractive garden, looking out on the Clee Hills. Haynall Villa is ideally situated for country walks around the Parish of Little Hereford, fishing in our privately owned carp pool, bird watching or visiting the working arable farm. Nearby are walks in the Mortimer forest.
We are a convenient base from which to explore the historic town of Ludlow and other local attractions in a district where history and manmade beauty combine with wonderful landscapes.
We are a convenient base from which to explore the picturesque Teme Valley with its timeless villages and market towns, notably Ludlow.
The historic town of Ludlow is also known for it's annual Shakespeare production in the castle grounds and it's summer festival of food and drink. For a full program of events go to www.ludlow.gov.uk click on calander of events, there is an event or market most week-ends(sat & Sun) as well as markets on weekdays. One Mondays and alternate Fridays one of the largest livestock markets in England is held at the modern auction mart ludlow.
Close by are several fine houses: Burford House Gardens, Berrington Hall and Croft Castle owned by the National Trust, and Stokesay Castle.
Less than an hour's drive away is the World Heritage Site of Ironbridge Gorge and, further south, the Severn Valley Railway. At a similar distance are the cathedral cities of Hereford and Worcester, the Malvern Hills and nearer to Haynall Villa, the south shropshire hills, both the Clee Hills and Church Stretton with the beautiful Cardingmill Valley.
In addition there are many other attractions, activities and trails such as the Black and White Village Trail.
