Piers Clifford has set up camp in our ancient woodlands where he hosts a small group of children to come and share our magical environment every Wednesday. Piers has a background in caring for and teaching young adults with behavioural difficulties as well as many years experience working in the woods with younger children. His approach is warm and calm, guiding each individual child to experience the day in the best way for them. Some prefer a more rigid 'learning' structure while others most certainly do not. Somehow Piers manages to balance these different needs effortlessly and with great humour so every day in the woods is totally different and based around the needs of the children that make up the group on that particular day. Rain is no problem as he has a large canvas awning and can light fores if it gets really cold!
