Our beautiful historic barns dating back to the 1840s have been carefully renovated to a high standard into four self catering apartments. Each apartment features modern architecture and stylish interior design. With relaxation and comfort in mind we have created four tranquil spaces ready for you to enjoy.

We provide each cottage with complimentary Egyptian cotton bed linen, towels, robes and kids ponchos (for the hot tubs!), toiletries, cleaning products, tea, Nespresso coffee, milk, sugar, biscuits, board games, vacuum cleaner, clothes dryer, wooden hangers, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, cots, highchairs and 2 bikes all at no extra charge.

Our cottages each feature a functional kitchen, equipped with an integrated dishwasher, kettle, toaster, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, oven and hob, cooking utensils and cutlery, glass and tableware. The Old Dairy has a washer/drier and the Hayloft, The Stables and The Tack Room have access to the communal laundry room which also has a large freezer. A dining table is located in the kitchen. In the lounge areas we have soft comfortable sofas (the Old Dairy and The Stables feature a double sofa bed for extra guests) a large flat screen TV with free-view channels, and a Bluray DVD player, and free WI-FI throughout the cottages, and a music docking station. Our bathrooms feature clean modern design with tiled walls and floors, hand basin, shower and toilet. We have used luxury mattresses on our beds which are dressed with Egyptian cotton linen, encasing feather pillows and duvets. In the bedroom areas we have ample storage in the form of hanging space and drawers.

Not just accommodation, we are now providing our guests with lots of extras and servcies to help make your stay with us truly bespoke, special and memorabe - including, visiting spa service, private chef, babysitting, onsite dog grooming and car valeting, vintage afternoon tea for your arrival, helicopter charter, hen party ideas, part concierge and lots lots more!

Located in the countryside on a family run farm and airfield we are able to cater towards niche interests - it is possible to fly in if you wish, or bring your dog or your horse, bike, walking boots or indeed just turn up in your car. Our designers have put together a fresh spring theme, with pale pinks and green shades reflected throughout the apartment.

The Stables were once home to the farm’s beloved shire horses, the most recent inhabitants being Bonnie, Major and Corrie, in the early 1960s. The cart they used has been restored and is on display in the garden area.

The whole cottage is situated where the farm’s working shire horses’ tack and harnesses were kept until the 1960s. We have retained a sense of the cottages original, historic purpose in the master bedroom, where we have reconditioned the harness stands to display an antique harness that was used on the farm and black bridle hooks.

The Old Dairy is located in the very oldest part of the original barn, built in the 1700s. It has a traditional kitchen with an old-fashioned farm house style sink to reflect the dairy heritage and separate living area with a sofa bed. Upstairs there are two bedrooms and bathroom with a shower. It operated as a dairy until the 1950s - the cows entered through the same front door you will use to get inside the property and after being milked would be ushered out through the door in the living room.

From this apartment there are views to the airfield and this has been reflected by some aviation themed items, such as a polished propeller on the wall, interesting photographs taken from the air and a coffee table featuring a vintage aeroplane engine. This cottage really reflects the farm’s transition from a traditional 1950s arable and pastoral farm to a modern agricultural endeavour - in the 1960s the Jefferies' used aerial crop spraying techniques for a time, combining their interest in flying with their agricultural duties. If you have any flying enthusiasts in your party, this is definitely the apartment for you.

A neutral, nature-inspired decor has been followed throughout, to reflect the apartment’s past as a working hayloft. Before the renovation the Hayloft had been used by the children growing up on the farm as a play area for around 50 years, firing their imagination with the old farm tools that were stored here. The clock that sits on the front wall of the building has been there for over 70 years, keeping a very accurate and watchful eye over the farm. This clock was dis-connected during the re-build, when it was re-connected after 9 months it was like an old friend returning.
