The Ash House, Nion, was originally the barn for the livestock which we have completely rebuilt putting back all the original openings and granite lintels. This has created a very unusual and quirky interior with open plan living and kitchen spaces. An easy hospitable space to be at home in, this cottage is infused with quality, colour and warmth. For a week of adventure exploring Cornwall or just an easy laid back lazy long weekend we are sure you will find this is a home you will return to again and again. Suitable for a family or two couples to share this flexible space can be adapted to suit your needs. It is also ideal for a couple seeking more spacious accommodation and is dog friendly.

Make use too of our Wild Spa area with a wood burning hot tub and sauna, a cold bucket shower and a Sanctuary Room where you are free to relax with a book. a yoga session or perhaps a treatment from our partners My Personal Sanctuary.

The self-catering accommodation is on two floors with open plan living, dining and kitchen spaces downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs.

A hand crafted oak kitchen with a granite worktop and a graphite black granite sink fully equipped with a dishwasher, a ceramic hob and stainless steel electric oven, a multi-function microwave and fridge-freezer. Everything you might need for your culinary adventures.

There is a contemporary oak dining table and matching chairs for six in the dining area.

Three comfy colourful sofas fill the sitting area and surround the wood burning stove. Hand crafted rugs soften the oak floors with bright textile and art works on the walls. There is a flat screen TV with free view, a library of books and DVDs and games.

An oak and glass turning staircase leads upstairs to the two double bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room.

The bedroom with the ensuite has twin beds which vcan be joined into a super king double bed if needed, and the other bedroom has a king size double bed.

In the two bathrooms, the sanitary ware is white and each room has heated towel rails and complimentary toiletries and towels. The main bathroom has a shower bath. The floors are travertine.

Outside there is a private courtyard style garden with BBQ facilities and garden furniture.

The roof of The Ash House accommodates our purpose built Barn Owl House which we hope will soon be occupied by our flying neighbours and their chicks. You will notice a small stone opening high up on the east side of this building.
