Pant End Farm/Yan Cottage

Pant End Farm provides a very comfortable base set in beautiful scenic countryside of the Lune Valley, midway between the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. The farm specialises in rare breeds with Gloucester Old Spot pigs, Belted and White Galloways, Light Sussex hens, geese, horses and sheep. Visitors are welcome to look round to enjoy the animals and farm life (with supervision). The peaceful location is ideal for a relaxing break in beautiful countryside in Cumbria, with the Lakes and Dales within easy reach. The country lanes and bridleways provide interesting walking and cycling. Kirkby Lonsdale has excellent shops, restaurants, tea rooms and pubs and is a 10 minute drive away. The self catering cottage is on the ground floor with underfloor heating and open beamed ceiling, together with slate floors and hand made furniture. Open plan sitting/dining room with well equipped kitchen area. One double room and one twin room. The bathroom has bath, a shower over the bath, WC, hand basin and heated towel rail. Facilities: Electric cooker, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, kettle, toaster. Colour TV, DVD, video, radio. Bed linen and towels provided.
