Nestling at the foot of Wetton Hill Gateham Grange is a walkers paradise. Suits couples and families. Dovedale and cycle trail nearby.

Robert, Teresa and Sam invite you to experience life on a real working farm with lambing (starting mid March) and calving (beginning in May) being a popular time. Animals include 2 cats, cattle, sheep and free range hens. Just come to see us at the Farmhouse and we will gladly show you around the farm.

We offer 2 comfortable cottages each sleeping 2-6 persons.  Ideal for couples and spacious enough for families also. The cottages can be booked separately or together.

The Coach House is a  lovely barn conversion situated next to the quaint old stone dovecote (dated 1789) and has a private garden with lovely views down the valley.

Gateham Cottage - your very own wing of our long old limestone farmhouse dated around 1830. A cosy cottage, full of character,  with an upstairs living room that overlooks the garden.  This cottage has free WiFi.

Recent testimonial - June 2016

"As two married couples, and pensioners, we can be a little picky about where we stay, as we know what we expect to find. No problems here - our expectations were definitely exceeded.
Everything we needed, and more, was available in the kitchen, so we were very optimistic as we explored the rest of the cottage. No disappointments there either.
Everything was just as described on the website. The reception from the Flower family could not have been better. All three were prepared to chat about their farm and this made a big difference to us. We felt welcome and not an inconvenience on their working farm. Even their bull was so docile we thought it was actually a pet. Life on the farm appeared to be like a silent movie as work was taking place. We could see it all but there was so little noise we could relax in a quiet atmosphere
As a base to explore from it is ideally situated, and we had no problem driving to the towns and attractions in the Peak District. The weather was also very kind to us. Even when using the washing machine and iron during the week we were surprised just how little it cost for electricity. When can we visit again? It will certainly be on our wish list for next year."  I Kerry
