Farwood Barton lies in the tranquil, peaceful Coly Valley amid high hills in the heart of ltghe East Devon countryside on a working dairy farm. The farm was mentioned in the Domesday book in 1066, the farm has been in existence in Saxon times.
Farwood Barton is only a shrt distance from the A30/A303 and A35 between the Blackdown Hills and the Jurassic coast (4miles away). The three holiday cottages are set in an Old Victorian Court Yard, all are spacious, furnished to a high standard, well insulated with underfloor heating using Geo thermal heating. The cottages are South facing with fantastic rural views over the Coly Valley and beyond.
The Wheel House contains 2 en-suite bedrooms and a twin room, and a large family bathroom, In the spacious kitchen/lounge area contains a wood burner and a sofa bed in its own curtained area. This house is all on one level.
The Leat House contains 1 en-suite bedroom, a double bedroom and the third bedroom contains a bunk bed. There is also a family bathroom from the hall. The spacious kitchen/lounge area is fully equipped. The lounge area has a woodburner. This house has 4 shallow steps from the hallway to the kichen/lounge.
The Apple Loft is our newist conversion, which is a 1 bedroomed,up-side down cottage, to take advantage of the beautiful, rural views. On the ground floor is the king size bedroom and seperate bathroom. Upstairs is the spacious open plan kitchen/lounge/dining room with a fully fitted kitchen, a wood burner, there is also a sofa bed.
On site is a large lawned area, outside tennis court, games barn with a full size snooker table, table football and a table tennis.
