There is a wealth of places to visit for all ages.  We are close to Jane Austen's Chawton, Selborne, Watercress Line Steam Railway, Birdworld and more.  National Trust properties, Winchester, Windsor (Castle & Legoland), Highclere Castle (film location for Downton Abbey) New Forest, Portsmouth and coast are within easy driving distance.  Besides HMS Victory, HMS Warrior and the Mary Rose, Portsmouth offers maritime museums and ferries to the Isle of Wight for an excellent day out.  We are only 5 miles from Alton where you will find a good selection of shops and take-aways and a mainline station where you can take a train to London (1 hour).  There are a number of golf courses in the area offering pay & play options.  An excellent choice of pubs and restaurants can be found in nearby villages.

We have a choice of two beautiful detached holiday cottages; Victorian Coach House sleeps 2 and 17th Century Granary with 3 en-suite bedrooms sleeps 6.  Attractively and comfortably furnished they are well equipped and each has its own garden with furniture and BBQ.  Central heating, electricity, linen and towels are included in the price.  A welcome tray of tea and home-made cake awaits your arrival.
