Peaceful farm location in the New Forest. Rushcroft Farm Cottages are only a five minute walk away from Sway village with local shops, great pubs and main line train station.

Rushcroft Farm offers 3 self catering properties, a small seasonal campsite and facilities for you to bring your horse on holiday.  Ideally situated within walking distance of Sway village, The New Forest National Park and just a short drive to beautiful coastal villages, Rushcoft Farm offers the perfect base to explore this unique and enchanting area.

The cottages are modern and spacious barn conversions, they have high ceilings in the main living areas giving a very light and airy feel to the properties. Sleeping four in two bedrooms, 1 double (with travel cot) and 1 twin room. An open plan living room/kitchen with wood and tiled floor and a shower room with wc. The double bedroom overlooks the rear courtyard garden and the twin over looks the front deck. The two cottages are attached sharing the same steps into the property and although totally separate, when booked together make ideal accommodation for large families. Both cottages have their own enclosed, secluded, dog safe courtyard gardens at the rear of the property and a gated sunny deck with sitting area at the front over looking the farm and small seasonal campsite.

Rushcroft Lodge is attached to the farmhouse and enjoys its own private entrance, parking and secluded garden. This property has one bedroom on the first floor. Open plan sitting/dinning on the ground floor with kitchen and shower room. Bed linen, tea towels and towels are included in all cottages. Electric heaters and electricity by card meter (top up cards available to purchase from the Farm Store/office or Farmhouse. Freeview TV. DVD. Electric cooker. Microwave. Dishwasher or washing machine. Courtyard and furniture. Parking (1 car). No smoking.

Dogs are allowed in the Cottages but not in the Lodge.   

Friday to Friday weekly breaks during peak times. Short breaks available off season - Weekend (Friday to Monday) or midweek (Monday to Friday).

The campsite is open from Easter until September. The train station is also a short walk from the farm giving excellent connections to many forest villages, the Isle of Wight from Lymington and the beautiful beaches at Bournemouth. The New Forest with its free roaming horses, donkeys and gloriously varied scenery is an easy walk, cycle or horse ride from Rushcroft Farm.  The cottages and lodge at Rushcroft farm are comfy and welcoming. Converted from a barn, Cottage 1 and 2 both sleep four guests in two bedrooms and benefit from nice high ceilings which add to the sense of space in the light and airy open-plan living areas.

 Accommodation and facilities:

Steps access both cottages which are single level once inside.
The cottages can be rented separately but being attached, they are also popular with large families or two families who want to holiday together whilst enjoying a good degree of personal space.
One double bedroom (with room for the travel cot) and one twin with two single beds.
Open-plan living room with space to cook, dine and relax. The kitchen/dining area is equipped with microwave, fridge, dishwasher, cooker, bar with stools and dining table with four chairs.
The sitting area has comfy leather seating, Freeview television and DVD player.
Shower room with WC and wash basin.
Courtyard with table and chairs for alfresco dining at the back of the property. Secluded and enclosed, the area is child and dog safe.
There is also a gated decking area at the front for sitting out which overlooks the farm and campsite.
Off-road parking available for one vehicle and bike storage can be arranged if required.
Additional information: Bed linen and towels are provided. Electricity (including heating) is via a card meter with cards available to be purchased at the farm. There is also a small quiet family-run campsite on the farm should you have guests/friends that would like to visit during your stay. Strictly no smoking in the cottages. Short breaks available outside of peak season (Friday to Monday and Monday to Friday for mid-week breaks). Friday changeover days are offered during peak season when 7 night (or more) bookings are preferred. Dogs welcome in no 1 and 2 cottage by prior arrangement. Rushcroft Lodge is situated on Rushcroft Farm in the heart of the New Forest and walking distance to the village of Sway with local shops, amenities and two pubs.

Enjoying views over the farm and comprising of one bedroom the Lodge sleeps 2 (+1 on sofa bed in lounge).  Adjacent to the farmhouse having its own private parking, access and secluded garden.  

The property is light and airy with the bedroom on the first floor and shower room, kitchen and open plan living / dining areas on the ground floor.  

Rushcroft Farm has a small herd of rare breed English Goats, chickens and horses.  Guests are welcome to bring their own horses by prior arrangement.

The electricity is metered with top up cards purchased from the farm house.

Please enter Rushcroft Farm via Station Approach, Sway, Hampshire SO41 6BA. On arriving in Sway village take the turning into Station Approach opposite Sway Newsagents and Post Office. Follow the lane through the station car park, signs to Rushcroft Farm and camp site will be seen on the left. Follow single track lane, under the railway bridge all the way down the track and you will find the campsite on the left. Your pitch will be allocated on the notice board as you enter the site. Rushcroft cottages will be found just past the campsite entrance on the right. Park facing the fence in allocated parking area opposite. The Lodge can be found further up the track, through the gate and just past the farm house on your left. Park in your allocated parking area.
