Weiroch Lodge is situated in a magnificent secluded position adjacent to the River Spey, between Grantown-on-Spey and Charlestown-of-Aberlour. The Lodge, an immaculate 18th-century mill conversion, offers exceptionally spacious accommodation and provides an ideal base for groups of fishers, stalkers and shooters. It is also the perfect choice for those seeking a quiet, relaxing holiday in a superb, remote location.
The accommodation sleeps six people in three comfortable en-suite bedrooms, with two additional good-sized sofa-beds for extra guests. A superb large dining kitchen is the hub of the Lodge, where long relaxed meals can be enjoyed before retiring to the sitting room, with its wood burning stove, comfortable sofas upholstered in tweed, antique furniture and original art work. This wonderful holiday home provides accommodation where luxury and quality blends with the peace and tranquillity of some of Scotland’s most scenic countryside, and guests can enjoy uninterrupted views over Speyside to the Cromdale Hills beyond.
Guests can wander over the fields to the River Spey, only a short stroll or explore the miles of tracks within the 800 acres of forest adjoining the Lodge. For those wishing a longer walk, access to the Speyside Trail is just a few minutes walk from the door. Besides field sports, golf, skiing at the Lecht and mountain biking to suit all abilities, are all within easy reach, and for those wishing to take a more relaxed approach to their holiday, there are castles, numerous whisky distilleries and beaches.
The Lodge can be hired on a self-catering basis, and is also available for catered lets with a cook/housekeeping service provided. For groups of stalkers and shooters and fishers, we offer special facilities - details can be seen on our website. Top class fieldsports are available all year on Estates in the locality and sporting packages tailored to suit individuals or groups can be arranged. Short breaks are available.
