A warm welcome awaits you at the beautiful thatched former heavy horse barn. The 4 Star Gold Award barn is perfect for all ages. It is ideal for family holidays, or romantic short breaks for couples. It has been graded friendly for low mobility, cyclists, walkers, and pets. Wonderful too for water based activities, sailing, canoeing, fishing, or enjoying a gentle tour of the broads on a cruiser. The sandy beaches of the east coast are a short drive away, fun for building sandcastles, swimming and visiting the seals at Horsey.

For those who wish to discover the magical environment and wildlife, we have How Hill and Alderfen Nature Reserves as neighbours. These can be reached on the circular footpaths around the farm where you can see barn owls, marsh harriers, bearded tits and swallowtail butterflies.

Lots of local facilities, including pubs, shops, Post Office, butchers, delicatessen, the renowned Bure Cottage River restaurant and a private swimming pool to hire, all just over 1 mile away.

Other local attractions include BeWILDerwood, Wroxham Barns, Neatishead RAF Radar museum, Hoveton Hall gardens within 4 miles and further afield the National Trust properties of Blickling and Felbrigg.

For culture, shopping and delicious food visit the “fine city of Norwich”, just 25 minutes away.

Prince’s Barn sleeps up to 7 people, but the ground floor is perfect for couples too.
It has been graded Level1Mobility, suitable for those who find stairs tiresome. The ground floor and courtyard garden have step free access there is a ground floor bedroom with an en-suite shower and a super king size bed (zip linked singles) – the room everyone wants! Also on the ground floor is a single bedroom with a wet room opposite. On the upper floor there are two king size double rooms with a family bathroom with bath/shower. There is a travel cot/ high chair/stair gate and baby alarm available. The sitting /dining room has an electric log burner, Sky TV/ Bluray/ CD player, books, CD’s, maps, guides and games. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a breakfast table.

The barn has been tastefully converted with oak timber throughout to create a modern rustic feel. It is double glazed and has central heating, with underfloor heating downstairs, ideal for cosy winter breaks.

Prince’s Barn has an enclosed courtyard garden complete with garden furniture and barbecue. There is a grassy area alongside the pond and a paddock for more energetic games. A secure bicycle shed and a boot and clothing drying room are provided.

Prince’s Barn sits alongside the traditional farm buildings and has ample car parking with it’s own access road leading from a quiet country lane.

 From Norwich take the A1151 to Wroxham, in Wroxham cross over the river bridge and drive past the Roys shops. At the double mini roundabout take the right turn for Horning/Ludham onto the A1062, travel for 3 miles to Horning cross roads. Turn left signposted for The Radar Museum and Neatishead.In 400 yards turn right for Radar Museum and Irstead, drive past the former RAF base on left, around a blind left bend, do not turn left to Three Hammer Common, continue along road.
