Fenton Hill Farm Cottage is located on a working farm near Wooler on the edge of the Northumberland National Park. This self-catering cottage provides excellent accommodation and some of the county's finest views.

Crab-apple Cottage at Fenton Hill will offer you home from home comfort and excellent facilities. The cottage sleeps 5 in 3 bedrooms; one double, one twin and one single. It has a comfortable lounge, kitchen with dining area, bathroom with shower enclosure, utility room and an enclosed garden. Crab-apple Cottage is available all year round, each season having a particular attraction.

Set in a beautiful country setting for a Northumberland short break or a winter weekend break; enjoy an open fire lit for your arrival in winter, evening strolls, sunsets, starry nights and birdsong. The cottage has it's own birdfeeder outside which bring endless pleasure. Fenton Hill farm offers self-catering accommodation away from main roads with no traffic noise and stunning views.

Ideal for family holiday, walking, cycling, horse riding, bird watching or just to enjoy the peace and tranquillity in special place. Children and adults will love Dylan and Zebedee the pygmy goats. We give you the opportunity to explore this beautiful area; a short drive from the Alnwick Garden, Alnwick Castle, Bamburgh Castle, unspoilt beaches, scenic valleysin the Cheviot Hills, Lindisfarne and the Scottish Borders.

The small town of Wooler, offering a variety of small shops, is a short drive away as are the picturesque villages of Ford and Etal. In little over an hour you can reach Hadrians Wall, Newcastle upon Tyne or Edinburgh.

From your cottage you can relax or be as active as you would like to be Crab-apple Cottage is a Friday change-over but we will try to accommodate your request if Friday isn't suitable for you.

Crab-apple Cottage
This is a single storey semi-detached cottage, sleeping five, with an enclosed south facing garden and its own gas barbeque. The cottage has laminate flooring throughout, a very comfortable lounge with an open fire, a fully fitted kitchen with dining area and separate small utility room. It has three bedrooms; a double, twin and single, a family bathroom with a shower enclosure and oil central heating throughout.

Car arrival:

Approaching Wooler from the south on the A697, turn right onto B6525 signposted to Berwick. Drive 3 miles to Doddington. Take 2nd left and drive approx. 2 miles. Turn 1st right. Fenton Hill is 1 mile up a hill on the right.

From the north on A697, turn left at end of Milfield village signposted to Fenton. Drive over a bridge, take 3rd turn right. Fenton Hill is around a corner on the left (approx. 3 miles from Milfield)
