Rose Cottage lies in a pretty, flower-filled, enclosed garden high up near Dunalastair Home Farm. It has an oil-fired Rayburn to heat the water and keep the cottage cosy as well as storage and panel heaters and a woodburning stove. This lovely cottage is fully double glazed and has a double bedroom with kingsize bed, a twin (convertable to superking) and a single room. The sitting room, as well as the wood stove, has TV, DVD player, wifi, books, games and puzzles. The bathroom has bath with shower over. The cottage has beautiful views over the hills and fields. Short breaks available out of main seasons. Tennis and fishing available. You can walk straight from the door to the river or the hills.

Cottages -Surrounded by the magnificent scenery of Highland Perthshire, an area renowned for exciting activities for all interests, our secluded holiday homes are separately located on family-run Dunalastair Estate in Rannoch. Cottages have panoramic views over the glen. They are really well equipped and cosy with log fires. Fishing/tennis available. Ideal for couples, groups of friends or families.
Activities - There are numerous and varied activities in the surrounding area including castles, distilleries, gardens, outdoor adventure, water sports, bungee jumping, geo-caching, golf, field sports, Pitlochry Festival Theatre, galleries and much else. Dunalastair is a superb base for touring a wide area of Scotland from Loch Ness to Edinburgh.
Wildlife - We are within easy reach of two National Parks but you don't need to stray off the estate to see numerous interesting wildlife, such as osprey, red squirrels, deer, buzzards, grouse, eagles and so much more.
Dunalastair - On 4,200 ha Dunalastair Estate we farm 1000 blackface ewes and about 100 luing x shorthorn cows. There is no arable but we make our own silage. There is extensive heather covered hill land and some low ground fields and some forestry plus trout fishing.

Maragdubh is an attractive and spacious farmhouse set amongst meadows with a spectacular panoramic view across the glen to Schiehallion. It is located separately from other buildings, is fully double glazed and has a double bedroom with en-suite shower room, a triple bedded room, a bathroom, sitting room (with sofa bed for one or two extra people if required), dining room, kitchen, enclosed garden and you can walk to the hills behind the cottage. The estate has hill farming of blackface sheep and highland cross shorthorn cattle as well as some stalking, trout fishing and pheasant and partridge shooting. Short breaks available out of main seasons.
