Relax in beautiful surroundings on an arable farm by the Eden River with river walks, wild flower meadow, fishing, and wildlife. Cottages have Austrian sleigh beds, wood burners, French windows, decking with garden furniture. Spiral stairs + ground level bedrooms. Golf, riding, cycling. Picturesque Kelso 2 miles.

A romantic little cottage for 2. It has a delightful beamed living room with a sumptuous pink Laura Ashley  sofa beside the wood burning stove and sky TV. French - windows lead out to the south facing decked garden with new bar b q and recliners.

Well equipped galley kitchen with dining table. Bath room with overhead shower. Spiral stairs wind through the wooden beams to the sunny bed room, with a king-size Austrian sleigh bed, french windows and small balcony. Enjoy the sun rising and huge starry skies and admire the beautiful views across rolling farmland to the Cheviot Hills on the horizon.

Garden Bank Cottage is part of a converted barn on an organic farm in a quiet corner of the Scottish Borders. Beautful views and river walks on our organic farm.

It has un-interrupted views over beautiful rolling countryside to the Cheviot hills. It has a double bed room with a King size Austrian sleigh bed en - suite shower room and a twin bedded room + shower room. Garden furniture, Barbeque, all weather - tennis court, river walks and wild life. Kelso has unique shops and lovely eating places.

It has easy walking access and is disabled (wheel chair) friendly.

Cockle Kitty Cottage is a perfect place to stay providing excellent facilities for cottage self catering in the Scottish Borders near Kelso! Summer or Winter! It is situated in a quiet corner of the Scottish Borders on an organic farm. It has a comfortable sitting room/dining room with sky TV, a sumptuous leather sofa beside the wood burner and large table to enjoy meals sourced from the wonderful butchers and fish shop in Kelso.

The hemmel arch window allows the morning sun to bathe the room in light. Starry skies are a delight also. The kitchen is well equipped and has a door onto the decking where you can relax on the new recliners and light up the barbeque and enjoy a magical view.

One field away is the Eden water perfect for relaxing by, paddling, fishing and birdwatching.

Edmonston House offers chalet-style farmhouse self catering accommodation near Kelso in the Scottish Borders with commanding views over the Eden and Tweed valleys to the Cheviot Hills in the south and over rolling farmland to Hume Castle perched on the horizon to the north. Plum Braes Barn is signposted in Ednam and is just 1/2 mile from Ednam B6461 and also on the Berwick-Coldstream - Kelso road. A698. There is a bus stop in Ednam. Edmondston House is 1/4 mile along from Plum Braes Barn.
Kelso - 3 miles - there is a convenient path all the way from Kelso to Plum Braes Barn.

Edinburgh - one hours drive, 40 miles. 1 3/4 hours by bus.

Edinburgh airport - 1 1/4 hours drive.

Berwick train station - 35 minutes drive, 20 miles, Buses Berwick to Ednam.

Newcastle airport - 11/2 hours drive.

London - Train is really handy - just 3 1/2 hours to Berwick-upon-Tweed. Hire a car or taxi from the station.

London - fly to Edinburgh - 1 hour. Taxi to the Edinburgh apartments, tram, or bus. Just 20 minutes. Taxi works out the same rate if there are 4 people.
