Big Cottage is a beautifully converted holiday let situated in the grounds of Fenny Castle House. This charming and carefully converted cottage enjoys views over the gardens and the Somerset levels.

Big Cottage is a beautiful single storey conversion sitting in the grounds of Fenny Castle House in the small hamlet of Fenny Castle, sitting on the River Sheppey midway between Wells and Glastonbury.

This charming and carefully converted building enjoys fantastic views over gardens and the Somerset Levels.

Big Cottage has an open-plan sitting room/dining kitchen with a wood burner and stylish, comfortable furniture. A TV is perfect for cosy nights in, while books and board games are also provided for peaceful moments.

The modern kitchen contains an electric cooker with double oven and ceramic hob, an American style fridge along with a wide selection of contemporary cooking utensils and tableware. A washing machine and dryer are located in a separate utility room.

There are three bedrooms. One double with king size bed and another with a queen-sized bed, both with ensuite bathrooms. The third bedroom is a twin room which benefits from the family shower room adjoining it.

Please note that an additional single bed can be put in the twin room although this is quite tight.

Big Cottage benefits from a private decked area with seating and BBQ area, with a shared garden and tennis court beyond. The gardens are laid to lawn with a mature planting scheme of flowers, shrubs and trees.

Another 1 bed (sleeps 2) unit is also available to accommodate larger parties.

The hallway leads through to a double bedroom with king size bed. The bed can be split to become two singles. It is also possible for an additional single bed to be put in the bedroom for a child. Beside the bedroom is a well-equipped bathroom which has a bath with overhead shower, wash basin and WC. Little Cottage benefits from a private decked area with seating and BBQ area, with a shared garden and tennis court beyond. The gardens are laid to lawn with a mature planting scheme of flowers, shrubs and trees. Well behaved dogs are welcome and will be charged at £30/night.

Immediately after the left turning you will find Fenny Castle House. A large yellow house with hedge along the road. This is us. You should cross the road and enter through the double gates.
