The Old Saw Barn

The Old Saw Barn is a beautifully renovated barn conversion on a friendly family farm and surrounded by glorious Worcestershire countryside. It is just 3 miles from the old market town of Pershore, and perfectly placed for visits to Stratford upon Avon and the Cotswolds. There are good local walks in the immediate area and plenty of local entertainment and things to do to amuse the family.

Hill Court Farm is very much a family farm, with a plethora of chickens, horses and ponies. It is a mixed farm, with beef cattle and arable crops; there is a small flock of pedigree sheep. The farm is also involved in environmental and conservation schemes for which it has won awards.

The renovation of the Old Saw Barn was completed in the spring of 2007. The barn is spacious, sophisticated, luxurious, and yet it retains its rustic classic charm. It sleeps 7 people, plus a cot. It consists of a large open-plan kitchen and dining room, a large living room with wood burning stove, a downstairs toilet and a utility room. Upstairs, there is a king-size double bed and en-suite bathroom with shower, another double bedroom with king-sized bed, a twin or triple room, a small single bedroom, and a family bathroom with bath and shower.

There is a south-facing patio area with a table and chairs, and a barbeque. The barn is surrounded by the garden, and there is private parking. A stream flows at the bottom of the property.

There is a colour television, DVD, CD player, Rangemaster cooker, fridge-freezer, washing machine and dryer, microwave oven, hair dryer, small DVD, video and book library, some games and extensive tourist information. There is no telephone landline available, and if you would us to provide you with a mobile phone for the duration of your visit, we will be pleased to do so. Please inform Sarah prior to your stay.

Electricity, towels, bed linen and duvets are included. Pets and children are welcome, however please note that pets are allowed downstairs only. Cots and high chairs are available on request. Smoking is not allowed.

The Old Saw Barn is located down a long farm drive, just 1 mile from the villages of Bishampton and Fladbury. In Bishampton, there is a local shop and public house, and in Fladbury, there is a butcher, 2 public houses and a hairdresser. The old market town of Pershore is 3 miles away and the larger town of Evesham approximately 5 miles away. Stratford upon Avon is 20 miles away, and Broadway, the gateway to the Cotswolds, is just 11 miles away. The M5 is just 8 miles due west, allowing quick and easy access to both north and south.

In addition to the local towns and sites of historical interest, there are several local fishing lakes close by, 2 golf courses within one mile of the barn, a local tennis club, a water-sports facility, and several National Trust gardens.

The Old Saw Barn is open all year, including Christmas and New Year. On request, short breaks are available from November to March, excluding Christmas, New Year and Cheltenham Gold Cup Week.
