Fantastic well equipped welcoming holiday cottages on a working farm just outside Harrogate.

Cowslip cottage sleeps 5-6 with a sofabed for 2 occasional guests and Humblebee cottage sleeps 5 -6 with a sofabed for occasional guests.

Both cottages are full of character, have wifi, toys and games provided free of charge, there is plenty to do on a rainy day if the weather is not with you.

As our guests have commented  that the cottages are in the perfect location to explore Yorkshire. The bus stops at the end of the farm lane with a regular service to Harrogate (where further buses or trains go directly to York and Leeds as well as many ohter destinations) or Ripon via the beautiful village of Ripley which is definately worth a stop to explore Ripley Castle, the lovely gift shops and of course the world famous Ripley Icecream!

Harrogate is just a 30 minute walk from the farm or 5 minutes by car or bus, were you will find lots of shops, restaurants and the beautiful valley gardens which are open all year round and are free of charge.

The beautiful market town of Knaresborough is just a 10 minute drive away on lovely country roads passing Nidd and Nidd Hall on route. There are lots of unique independant shops, lovely cafe's, restaurants and boating on the river. The market is held on a Wednesday and lots of lovely local produce can be found here. We can advise confidently on Knaresborough as we have a little shop there!

Ripon is just 20 minutes away which is another market town, the market being on a Thursday here. Just a couple of minutes past here is the Lightwater Valley Theme Park with rides and attractions for all the family.

York is a 30 - 45 minute drive away (or as mentioned, by train or bus)

Pately Bridge is just a short drive and is well worth a visit with lots of lovely walks.

We provide lots of toursit information in the cottages and are very happy to advise on places to see and do while you are here and also very happy to show you around the farm and meet some of our lovely cows and calfs while you are here. If you are lucky you may get to help feed the calves with their buckets of milk!

Please contact if you have ANY questions and we will do our best to help.
