Fishing Fun at Pitlands Farm

The Environment Agency put on a "Teach Children to Fish Day" at Diane and John Mann's Self Catering lodges and B&B at Pitlands Farm, Clifton upon Teme in June where they have two fishing pools stocked with Carp, Rudd and Tench. The Agency provided the tackle and bait, and 5 qualified coaches to teach the children. Ten Beavers and 10 Cubs took part, and they and their parents all enjoyed a lunchtime BBQ in a day of perfect weather. Plenty of fish were caught, and they all went home with a certificate of achievement.
