Woodall Spa is a particularly picturesque village in Lincolnshire. It has a wide variety of shops and an interesting war time history due to its proximity to the local RAF squadron. This free event allows visitors to appreciate the effect the war had on the home front and appreciate the social changes of this dramatic era of British history. With exciting war re-enactments, 1940s music to sing and dance to, as well as militaria to look at and explore, they will be plenty to keep the whole family entertained and to learn about. The festival also has lots of exciting things to eat, ranging from artisan toasties to delicious gelato, and of course, Lincolnshire sausages. With many vintage clothing stalls, crafts stalls as well as local artistic displays they’re will be something for everyone at this event. If classic cars, trucks and bikes are more your thing the weekend includes a pre 1950s car rally, as well as lots of military vehicles.
