MevagissyCornwall is very accessible to visitors who like to cycle.  Probably the most famous cycling route in the County is the Camel Trail with 18 miles of off- road cycling from Wenfordbridge, near Bodmin to Padstow or vice versa!  Bike hire is available including bikes for families and bikes with little carts to carry little ones. 
The National Trust at Lanhydrock have recently developed a cycle where the green, blue and red trails allow you to choose a route fitting with your ability.  Bike hire is also available as is a skills area for you to practice.

also promote cycling  around their lakes at Stithians and Roadford or if you are staying in the North of the County, you may wish to hop across the border to Roadford or Tamar Lakes. 
If you prefer something a little more robust and are staying close the the border, a day out at Tamar Trails Activity Centre is a day well spent!  Enjoy mountain biking on routes that explore the Tamar Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and symbolic of Cornwall's mining heritage.  Combine this with a day of Tree Surfing based at the Tamar Valley Centre or combine with taking to the water for a little canoeing on the river Tamar. 
The National Cycle Network also enjoys in the region of 200 miles of signed cycle routes throughout Cornwall with approximately 30 miles being off road.
