Enjoy beaches with golden sands, rocks to climb and crabbing.  Surf the north coast on beaches like Woolacombe or relax on the gentler south coast at Bigbury or Sidmouth. Step back in time and visit some great National Trust properties that have some superb educational facilities for children - Arlington Court, Saltram House and Killerton House to name just a few.  Dartmoor or Exmoor also prove great locations where you can enjoy leisurely days exploring areas of outstanding natural beauty at the same time as getting up close and friendly with the ponies and sheep.

As a county, Devon also has plenty to offer visiting children - attractions including Paignton Zoo; Crealy Adventure Park; Watermouth Castle and Theme Park and the National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth are just a few places that will keep the youngsters occupied throughout the day.
