Award winning single storey cottages converted from old cow byres with exposed beams and vaulted ceilings. Working sheep farm with 250 breeding ewes. Three 2-person cottages and four 4-person cottages (sleeps 22 in total). Ample parking with 2 Voltshare EV charging points exclusively for guests. Enclosed garden and individual patios with garden furniture. Swim in our luxurious heated indoor pool whatever the weather. Well equipped games room with table tennis and table football.

Located on the edge of the village of Winsley between the World Heritage City of Bath (5 miles) and the Saxon town of Bradford on Avon (2 miles). Longleat House and Safari Park is 12 miles with discounted tickets available in advance if you stay with us (20% discount). Our village pub 'The Seven Stars' serves good food and local ales is 500m. Family farm shop and cafe at Hartley Farm is also 500m. Popular all day breakfast, lunches and teas served daily. A co-op supermarket style shop is 1 mile away in Bradford on Avon.

Farmcraft - Becky is now offering Farm activities to guests coming to stay on the farm. Activities include Sheep Herding, Lambing Experiences (March/April), Farm Olympics. These are very popular for groups of all ages and group sizes. Booking and payment is taken in advance.

The farm, with its dry stone walls, has been in the Bowles family for over 120 years. Grandfather Bowles used to own the village pub as well as Church Farm. The cottages have been named after various fields surrounding Church Farm, many with Flemish names given by the Belgian weavers who came to this area in years gone by. Care was taken throughout the renovation of the traditional single storey cow byres to retain many of the original features including natural stone walls, exposed beams, vaulted ceilings and stone pillars. The non-smoking accommodation is of a high standard and includes full central heating and double glazing.

Easter Holiday fun with baby lambs

Not long until we start seeing the return of blue skies, daffodils and baby lambs! Book a stay this Spring (end of March and first half of April) to be part of one of our Lambing Experiences. Go behind the scenes and see what goes on in our Lambing fields and barn. If this is booked during the School Easter Holidays, it is complimentary. Outside of the holidays they are still available to book, but there is cost per person
