Val, Roddy and family welcome you to their traditional, working farm, close to the North Devon and Cornwall border where we offer quality bed and breakfast accommodation. The market town of Holsworthy and the coastal town of Bude are close by. Enjoy a delicious Devon cream tea on arrival, served in the dining room, in your room or out in the garden in fine weather using local clotted cream, jam and delicious homemade scones. This offers an opportunity to make yourselves at home and to find out a little about Forda Farm Bed and Breakfast and the farm where we live and work.

Forda Farm nestles in a tranquil secluded valley, bordered on two sides by streams which eventually flow into the River Waldon and then on into the River Torridge. The River Torridge meanders it’s way through the rolling North Devon countryside to its end at the “Little White Town” of Bideford. While the River Tamar forms the border between Cornwall and Devon.

Learn to surf at Bude, relax on the beach at Crackinton Haven or explore the rockpools at Sandymouth. Take a walk on the South West Coast Path.

Go to the gardens of RHS Rosemoor and visit Clovelly and Hartland point. Take a trip to Tintagel and immerse yourself in the legend of King Arthur or go to the Eden Project and experience the tropical rainforest without leaving the U.K.

After a busy day return to Forda Farm and relax with a glass of wine. Enjoy a delicious breakfast in our dining room or in the comfort of your room. No need to rush. Choose from our extensive menu which you will find on our digital app. Simple 2 course evening meals are also available, when booked in advance. We can also offer pack lunches if you require these.

The Torridge is a family room which can offer a couple loads of extra space. Has a sofa and Smart television.

We now offer both service in the dining room and in your room. You have a folding dining table and chairs in your room to accommodate this if you choose room service.

We are still serving a full breakfast menu with continental options too. Check our Digital app for more details ( you receive this a few days prior to arrival )

Vegetarian options and special dietary needs can be caterd too. Please inform Val at the time of booking as to your requirements.

Simple 2 course Evening Meals and Pack lunches are available. By arrangement and for a cost. Check our website or with Val for details.

Your beverage tray is now filled to your personal requirements prior to arrival, from the choices you have made from our extensive menu within our digital B&B app, which you will receive prior to your arrival with us.

This room can accommodate a family of 2 adults and 2 children too. (Children are an extra cost, babies go free until they are sleeping in a bed not a cot )

You can access free internet during your stay, please download our digital app prior to arrival for the access code. If you have any issues please inform us and we will try to help, however if this outside of our control we cannot be held responsible.

We will refill your beverage tray as required, replace towels and anything else you may need when we do a quick service of your room. This is also a good time to top up your fresh milk in your fridge.

A basic room service is done every day e.g. bins, clean cups, extra beverages if required etc. If you choose not to have a service, please ask for more supplies at breakfast. Thank you.

The Tamar room, is a self contained 4 Star GOLD B&B room on a working farm, close to the North Devon and Cornwall border. Near Holsworthy and Bude.

The Tamar is a double or twin room with a super king size bed (six foot bed). It has it's own entrance. It has a small entance porch where you can hang outdoor clothes and store your shoes.

Please note there are a couple of small steps at this entrance, and one going into the room from the porch before you are entirely on one level.

The Tamar has a Digital television with DVD player and freeview channels.

Your beverage tray is now stocked to your specifications before arrival, a menu can be found on our digital B&B app which you will receive prior to leaving home.

You now can choose to dine in the dining room or in your room or if it is really nice, out in the garden. You have furniture in the room to aid this if you choose room service.

A full breakfast is still served, with the option of a Vegeterian or Continental too. Special diets can be catered for. Please let Val know of your needs at the time of booking. Extensive menu choices are on your Digital app which is sent to you prior to arrival.
