We welcome you to our home with a complimentary cream tea on arrival.Relax and unwind and enjoy being spoiled.Feel reassured that social distancing and hand sanitisation will be encouraged.Fall into comfy beds with crisp white linen and soft fluffy towels.Forget the bed making and washing up and let us do it all for you. The 12th. Century house faces south, overlooking the patchwork of glorious North Devon countryside, with spacious centrally heated rooms. Two double/twin and one family bedrooms are available, one of which boasts a splendid plasterwork ceiling in the house, also a ground floor suite and a glamping unit. A log fire and wood-burning stove heat the large sitting room and dining room. Delicious breakfasts and tasty evening meals are provided with home-grown produce from the farm and vegetable garden.

Our aim is to make our guests feel throughly relaxed and comfortable.

For the active, there is plenty to do in North Devon. There are opportunities to ride, walk, cycle and fish. An eighteen-hole golf course is a mere five miles away at High Bullen Hotel with an indoor swimming pool and spa. Rosemoor Gardens (Royal Horticultural Society) and National Trust properties are within easy travelling distance as are several sandy beaches.The farm has its own farm trail which guests are welcome to walk round.Wagon rides with our Shire horses are available when arranged or the horses can be seen working on the organic mixed farm or preparing for a wedding.Driving courses can be booked.

Alternatively, if you just want to sit and soak up the sun, or read a book, Higher Biddacott has a peaceful, private garden in which to take your ease.The very popular Bell Inn is within walking distance of the farm and meals can be booked there

The farmhouse is open all the year round and parties for special occasions can be catered for using the granary.

Car arrival:

From junction 27 on the M5 take the A361 signed to North Devon and Barnstaple. Continue until reaching the roundabout where South Molton is signed to the left. Take this turning and go through the town of South Molton heading for Barnstaple. At a crossroads after the square take a left turning onto the B3227 signed to Torrington, Hill and Chittlehampton. Follow this road for six miles until a large stone cross at a junction appears on the right hand side. Take a right turning after this junction (signed to Cobbaton). After one mile and leaving the village behind you, Higher Biddacott is the first farm on the right hand side with a reflective Farm Stay UK sign.
