The well-presented guest rooms are in a separate converted building within the grounds of the main house offering a private and relaxing stay, with ample parking alongside the rooms. We offer a double en-suite with an optional single fold out sofabed for children and a twin en-suite room. All guest accommodation looks out over our pony paddocks and open countryside towards the Lincoln skyline. We have a peaceful picnic orchard and wildlife pond area for guests to relax in. Our breakfasts are served in our traditional dining room in the main house which has a delightful view of our cottage garden.

We serve a selection of breakfasts from full English to light bites, which includes a choice of local sausages, smoked salmon and of course eggs from our own free range hens. Vegetarian and gluten free options are always available.

First floor Oakloft self-catering apartment is also available. We are located approx 1 mile from the Elizabethan Doddington Hall and Gardens also renowned for its farm shop and restaurant. We are within walking distance of Whisby Nature Park and Whisby Natural World Centre, which is ideal for a morning walk or run, or a relaxing spot of bird watching.

We are approx 2 miles from the outskirts of the Cathedral City of Lincoln and 20 mins from the market town of Newark on Trent. Ideally located for the numerous Antique Centres, shops and fairs.

From the north of Lincoln at roundabout on A46 near Whisby Garden Centre and The windmill pub take 3rd exit onto Whisby Road towards Whisby/Eagle, just over a mile take the first left onto Thorpe Road and our B&B is approx ¼ mile on the left. (If you have reached Thorpe Farm Machinery ‘TFM’ Country Store you have gone too far and you can turn around here.)

From Newark/A1/A46 direction take first turn off the roundabout to Thorpe on the Hill, follow road through Thorpe on the hill and over railway lines into Whisby. Follow this road up the hill and round the bends, past TFM Country Store and you will see our roadside sign in the hedge on your right. come down the drive and you will see the parking area.
