Come and explore the stunning countryside surrounding our home in the heart of North Yorkshire and in the North York Moors, No 1 National Park. Country lovers' paradise, abundance of singing birds, wild flowers, Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the unique spiritual triangle of the Abbeys of Ampleforth, Byland and Stanbrook.

Sleep in romantic four-poster en-suite bedrooms. Eat delicious Yorkshire food. We serve an award winning breakfast and there are some excellent eating places ranging from coffee houses to Michelin starred restaurants all very close . Walk taking in the wonderful views, finding the wild flowers - why not take one of our Cuckavalda Labradors or Cocker Spaniels with you for company .

Car arrrival: M1, A1, A64 (York) A1237 (ring road) A19 towards Thirsk, turn off at Easingwold, then travel to Coxwold, Byland Abbey and Wass - Take the Ampleforth road for one mile. Wass Grange and Low Carr on the right. Then we are appox 200 yards further on on the left .  We are sign posted Carr House Farm and there is a pheasant logo on the board. There is a homemade green bus shelter and 2 stone flower troughs on the grass verge.

Without a vehicle - You can catch the 31X  bus from York . It leaves 3 times a day except for Sunday and Bank Holidays. You can be dropped at the end of our road if you ask the bus driver.
