Scaife Hall is a working hill farm set in a picturesque, peaceful, rural location. Our 19th century annexe cottage offers two double and one twin bedded rooms, each tastefully decorated. All 3 bedrooms have their own ensuite facilities, Freeview colour TV with DVD, clock radio, hairdryer, CH.

The cottage has a lounge with colour TV and DVD player, lots of tourist information and maps you can borrow, books and magazines ro read and real crackling log fires in the winter.

The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, full size dishwasher and a washer dryer. There is a large fridge and a freezer. If you dont fancy cooking there  are several local inns nearby providing excellent evening meals.

Our 19th entury holiday cottage is right up to date with a new modern fitted, fully equipped kitchen, a spacious living room and dining room with fabulous views.

Our 3 well appointed bedrooms, 2 double and 1 twin bedded, all have ensuite shower rooms and we provide you with with large fluffy bath sheets, hand towels and bath mat.

There is access to the garden and some outdoor seating.From the door you can walk out into beautiful open countryside and there are many scenic waymarked walks to enjoy . Enjoy crackling log fires in the winter and a BBQ in the garden in Summer.

We are a proper working farm and we have Pedigree Belted Galloway Cattle, Swaledale and Mule sheep. Lambing time usually starts around mid march and you are welcome to meet the sheep and lambs but you dont have to work though. Wellies  and not best clothes essential !

We do allow a well behaved dog to join you on holiday, or I have one, Dolly, you can borrow for a walk. Any queries please dont hesitate to get in touch .
