lBEST TIME TO SEE CRAGSIDE IN ALL ITS BEAUTY - MAY AND JUNE   Our local Nation Trust property Cragside  which you can see from the farmhouse  with thousands of Rhododendron bushes and will look amazing by May into June   - a perfect day out!

Set amidst spectacular scenery in the heart of Northumberland - very close to Rothbury village and NT property Cragside, our 300 year old listed B&B farmhouse has a friendly relaxed atmosphere. Choose from traditional accommodation in our lovely main farmhouse 

Guests have free fishing available on our private stretch of the renowned River Coquet - sea trout and salmon.

Relax in one of the 3 warm, spacious, ensuite bedrooms with either king sized or twin beds and enjoy the warm bathrooms, complimentary luxury toiletries, well stocked refreshment tray and supremely comfortable bed.

We are very lucky to have Red Squirrels in the woods behind the farmhouse and also there are hides at N.T properties Cragside and Wallington Hall to hopefully see Squirrels up close!

Tower room is located  in the farmhouse with lovely views of countryside and the ruined  Pele Tower .  This room has a kings size bed with light as air goose down duvet and soft pillows.  The en suite has soft bath sheets,bathrobes and luxury toiletries a bath and over head electric shower Two comfortable easy chairs and a 52Inch TV on wall  The drinks tray is well stocked with biscuits and there is a fridge just outside the room with fresh milk in it for your use.  Please feel free to use the fridge for cold drinks etc. 

Another double en suite is also available  Forest room

 Lovely views of the old Pele Tower and forest from the two windows in this room.There is a large guests lounge and a garden room with wonderful views where you have breakfast.  The Cheviot Room has the most wonderful views over the Coquet valley and the Cheviot Hills.  This room has two comfortable single beds with soft light goose down duvets for a restful sleep. Two  easy chairs   a 50 inch  LCD TV and a well stocked drinks tray with biscuits.The en suite has a double shower unit , luxury toiletries and large fluffy bath sheets.

The drinks tray has fresh milk located in a  fridge outside the bedroom which is also handy for keeping wine etc. cool.

Also a very comfortable lounge for guests to enjoy as well as ouy garden room where you have breakfast with  spectacular views

THE BRACKEN ROOM  is a large and airy room  - has a kingsize bed with soft as air goose down duvet (or blankets if preferred)  The room has a 52" TV on wall and well stocked drinks tray with biscuits.  En suite has bath a separate shower cubicle  luxury toiletries and large fluffy bath sheets. There is a fridge located in the room which always has fresh milk for your use and of course room for wine or beer if you prefer!

The view from this room is over the old Pele tower up to the forest and over to the Cheviot Hills (three windows!)

Car arrival: From Newcastle take A1 north for approx 15 miles then A697. After approx 7 miles turn onto B6344 - signed Rothbury. In Rothbury, turn left along Bridge Street, then immediately right at far end of bridge. Follow Tosson Tower farm signs and the county council  signs for the hamlet of Great Tosson about 2.5 miles. Farmhouse has large Bed and Breakfast sign on left hand side of road with the farmhouse on the right hand  side of road
