Peacefully situated on our arable farm, you can relax in our comfortable en suite bedrooms which are furnished to a high standard. Enjoy a wholesome farmhouse breakfast in the dining room using local produce cooked on the Aga. There is a guests' sitting room with information about the places to discover in South Suffolk and also local maps for walking around the area. We look forward to having you to stay in our unique Tudor farmhouse.

Stay at our peaceful 15th Century beamed farmhouse on an arable farm 6 miles west of Ipswich.  We offer quality bed and breakfast in a relaxed atmosphere at our family home.

Two spacious guest bedrooms:- One Superking en-suite room in the farmhouse and One Twin or Superking en-suite room in a ground-floor stable conversion.  The Stable is suitable for guests who find climbing stairs a problem. Both bedrooms have central heating, Wi-fi access, USB charge points, Freeview TV, hot drinks tray plus added luxuries such as toiletries, bathrobes, sweets and fresh flowers.   

Breakfast is served in the dining room where you can enjoy an award-winning meal freshly cooked with local Suffolk produce. There is a guests' sitting room with television and books/magazines to browse in front of a log fire in the winter months.  Also in the garden is a summer house to relax in for the summer months.  Good food is available at many pubs and restaurants in the area. An 18-hole golf course is in the village, with horse-riding and fishing lakes nearby.

We are ideally placed to visit 'Constable Country', the Sutton Hoo Anglo-Saxon ship burial site (N.T.) as seen on "The Dig", the Wool Towns of Lavenham, Sudbury and Hadleigh, and Suffolk's Heritage Coastline.  Cambridge and Norwich are an hour away by car.  Discover for yourselves what this part of South Suffolk has to offer.

The Stable Room is in a converted building separate from the farmhouse with its own entrance.  It is a ground-floor room so is ideal for guests who find climbing stairs a problem.  It is very spacious with twin beds which can be linked to make a Superking bed if preferred, with en-suite shower & toilet. The  bedroom has two comfortable armchairs to relax in. The door goes out to a small patio with table and chairs, and onto the garden.   Single occupancy in this room is £75.00 per night.  Also there is:-

Arrival by car:-

From West or North on A14:  Leave A14 at Junction 52 for Claydon/Bramford.  At roundabout take the 4th exit (B1113).  Go straight along this road for about 3 miles, going through Sproughton village.  At next roundabout, take the third exit (A1071), and Hintlesham is 3 miles along this road.  Go through Hintlesham, staying on the main road, and the farm is half a mile beyond the village on a Z-bend, on the left.

From South on A12:-  Leave A12 at Junction 32b for Copdock/Washbrook.  Take the first left on roundabout and then go along this straight road for about 3 miles where road goes left.  Follow this road up a steep hill to a roundabout.  Take the first left exit (A1071) towards Hadleigh, and Hintlesham is 3 miles along this road.  Go through Hintlesham, staying on the main road, and the farm is half a mile beyond the village on a Z-bend, on the left.
