If peace and quiet is what you are looking for, come and join us in our 17th/18th century moated farmhouse. Enjoy the friendly atmosphere and open countryside on our now arable farm, originally a dairy farm.  The numerous trees and hedges provide plenty of wildlife and bird watching.

Relax under the verandah looking out over the large garden and paddocks.  Watch the wonderful sunsets and open skies that Suffolk is well known for.

Your meals will be well catered for, with a Full English Breakfast provided from local ingredients and homemade preserves.  Evening meals can be found locally, in either award winning restaurants or pubs providing good food in nice homely surroundings.  Unfortunately they are not in walking distance, but within a very short drive.

We are situated in the middle of the County in easy reach of a number of National Trust properties.  The nearest being  Lavenham and Long Melford, renowned for their wool trades, now providing numerous places of  historic interest .   The drive there will take you through the pretty villages of Chelsworth and Kersey.  Not far away is the market town of Bury St Edmunds with it 's Cathedral and Abbey Gardens, Brewery and Old Theatre all of which are worth a visit.  Constable Country is also a easy drive, giving you a variety of places of interest.

Dogs are welcome, but are not allowed in the bedrooms.  I provide a large comfortable cage downstairs.  We have plenty of dog walks in and around the farm or in the area.  Poppy (Black Lab) my meeter and greeter looks forward to having friends come and stay.

Both walking and cycling in the area are enjoyed by visitors and I have various walks available for you to follow.
