The Shepherds Hut is based on traditional huts that were taken into the fields of large sheep farms in the 19th century.
Proper Hygge, all scandinavian and cosy. Pale washed boarding, an oak floor, tiny wood stove thats super efficient and a stable door so you can really enjoy the view.
A wonderfully comfy oak bed, made up and ready for bed time, plenty of candles and a lantern to light your short walk up to the ‘facilities’.
Just a few yards to the lovely warm shower rooms and toilet.
There is also the Stable Kitchen, with sink, microwave, tea making, a fridge, a freezer packed with homemade meals and treats, cold beer, soft drinks and wine.
Also plenty of local guide books and maps and space to dry boots and jackets round the wood stove after you have explored the foot paths and cycle trails that strike out in every direction from Crake Trees Manor.
A Breakfast Basket of a Cumberland bacon/sausage and egg bap, yoghurt with fruit and honey, croissants with crab apple jelly and a flask of coffee can be ordered and brought to the Hut each morning. at £18.00/basket for 2
Visitors to The Shepherds Hut can book private use of The Wood Fired Hot Tub, at £48.00. After a long day walking, biking or just exploring The Westmorland Dales, an evening in the Wood Fired Hot Tub is so relaxing.
