Holly Water Holidays is an off-grid, eco-friendly glamping escape in glorious Mid-Devon. A place for peace, quiet, tranquillity, wood-fired hot tubs, Shepherd’s Huts and our very own Treehouse. The perfect place to relax, recharge and reconnect. A slice of heaven.

Our Shepherd huts and treehouse are positioned in the most beautiful location in rural mid Devon. They provide the perfect romantic retreat and an escape from the demands of everyday life – somewhere to enjoy life’s small and simple pleasures while you recharge your batteries.

Our power supply for the Shepherd huts and treehouse themselves is entirely solar and propane gas and we are run on a totally ‘off-grid’ system. With this you can be as cosy and comfortable as you could ever wish for.

You have your own private kitchen facilities, lovely shower and toilet room, hand-built king size beds with lovely comfy mattresses and a beautiful wood burner for those cosy, relaxed evenings.

Alternatively you might prefer to spend your evening outside enjoying a barbecue on your fire-pit or chilling in our wonderfully crafted wood-fired hot tubs. Either of these options could be well earned if you spent the day exploring the local lanes with the maps provided. It is even possible to book a session in our beautiful sauna for that spa experience.

Our shepherd huts are well equipped with all you need for your stay. There are comfortable kingsize beds made up with 100% wool duvets.

There is a fully equipped kitchen with a small gas fridge/freezer and full gas cooker. It is well stocked with pots, pans and utensils.

The en-suite shower room has towels and there are bathrobes for your use when on your way to the wood-fired hot-tub!

There is a small log burner for those cosy winter evenings and a fire-pit with oven outside for the summer evenings.

We are entirely off-grid so we do not have hair-driers, toasters and microwaves but we do have good lighting,12v charge points and DVD players and a whole list of films available as well as books, star charts, wildlife books, binoculars and some cards and games to keep you entertained.

For your SatNav use the postcode EX17 4DA. This will bring you to a small hamlet called 'Preston' where you will come along a straight road at the bottom of a hill. Along the straight you will see some small farm buildings and a large white house called ‘Tanglewood’. The lane up to Holly Water Holidays’ shepherd huts and treehouse is between the building and Tanglewood – follow the sign. The gate into the huts is up the lane on your left and continue along the track through the first field to the treehouse. Now relax!
