If you are looking for something a little different, then this is the place for you. Beautifully decorated, this 15ft by 8ft hand built Shepherd's Hut is situated next to its own orchard at Easter Barton, a 200 acre working farm on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Berrynarbor. It is tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you may need such as cosy double bed, fridge, hot and cold water,well equipped kitchen area, gas rings for cooking. Separate hot shower and flush toilet in quirky converted, slate floored horse box.

Perfect for a quiet few days away from the stresses of life, or a great base for exploring the hidden gems which North Devon has to offer. On a summer's evening cook outside, sit back and enjoy the breathtaking view across the valley, take a stroll through the village to the pub, or even walk over the field for a spectacular view of the Bristol Channel and Welsh coastline.

Provided with an endless supply of logs you can light the pretty French wood burner and snuggle up for the night.

The surrounding area has something for everyone; a wonderful selection of restaurants and pubs, great walks either across stunning Exmoor or along the SW Coast Path, sandy beaches, surfing, secluded rocky coves to explore, fishing trips, seaside towns, it's all here either a short walk or drive away.

Additional Directions Information

Berrynarbor is situated between the towns of Ilfracombe and Combe Martin on the A399. Once at the village shop in Berrynarbor (there is only one) drive up the hill 200 yards. On a sharp bend you will see the sign for Easter Barton straight ahead up a concrete drive. As you drive up that road and around the house you will see The Shepherd's Retreat in the orchard in front of you.
