The historic market town of Framlingham was the main setting of the film The Detectorists starring McKenzie Crook. This wonderful town with its Framlingham Castle Suffolk
magnificent castle masqueraded as the fictional town of Daneby, with other film locations including Orford & Ipswich.  

In addition to being filmed in Essex the popular TV series Lovejoy was also filmed in Lavenham & Long Melford near Sudbury, and Bungay in the Waveney Valley. Lavenham is a lovely place to explore with its half timbered medieval cottages and 15th C church. Long Melford Church Suffolk Long Melford was one of the great cloth towns of medieval Suffolk and is a popular place to visit and perfect for Antique lovers with its many antique shops. Visit the spectacular Holy Trinity Church,  Melford Hall (National Trust) and Kentwell Hall.
