Peace and quiet available on our Fenland Farm but close enough to the Cities for a visit. WiFi available in all units. Indoor heated swimming pool and hot tub available all year on rota basis for private use.

Farmed by our family for many years, on our secluded Fenland Farm we have two traditional barns converted into three units, connected by a covered outdoor area and a bungalow set in its own garden. Use of an indoor heated swimming pool is included on a rota basis for private use. We are midway between Ely, Cambridge, Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds and Kings Lynn so trips out are easy. A ride to the Norfolk Coast for the day takes about an hour. WiFi available via BT Broadband.

Traditional wooden barns have been converted into Swan, Heron and Pheasant Barns situated around a covered courtyard ideal to sit in the shade on a hot day or to sit and watch the rain fall.

Swan and Heron Barns have a groundfloor double bedroom and bathroom which are off a kitchen/living/dining room. Upstairs is a galleried twin bedded room that overlooks the living area. These are ideal for small families. Outside at the front is a private decking area with tables and chairs ideal for outdoor dining, the rear of the barn has a patio that is under the covered area so you can shelter from the hot sun!

Pheasant is larger and has three bedrooms, one double with en-suite shower room is downstairs. There is a small separate kitchen fully fitted with cooker, dishwasher, micro-wave and fridge. The lounge/diner has a large picture window  which looks down the tree lined driveway, upstairs you have a twin bedroom, double bedroom and family bath room. This also opens onto the covered patio area where there are gas and charcoal bar-b-que's for the use of our guests. 

Closeby is an indoor swimming pool inside a log cabin; the pool is heated and open all year round. We can provide towels for the use of our guests in the pool area.  The pool building is on a rota basis so our guests can use it privately.

The largest of our properties is situated 50 meters from the main barns and has its own private garden. Kestrel is a large bungalow with separate kitchen, dining room and living room.

The bedrooms are two twin rooms and two double one of which has a en-suite bath room with shower.

All our units have use of the swimming pool on a rota basis for private use.  There is also a large grassed area for you to play ball games with your family or get away on your own and practice your golf swing.

We are situated two+ miles from the main A10 road in the heart of the Fens, ideal for those seeking peace and quiet.  We are close enough to many large historic towns and cities, Ely, Cambridge, Peterbrough, Bury St Edmunds are all within half an hours drive with Sandringham and the coast easily reached within an hour

Our guests have use of the indoor heated pool & hot tub. We do take one well behaved dog by arrangement in this unit. There are farm walks with an abundance of wild life.

A10 - ELY -KINGS LYNN

DO NOT go into Littleport. Stay on the A10

Between the Roundabout for Littleport, where the A1101 from WISBECH joins and the Railway Crossing on the A10 take the turning to HALE FEN, sign posted. After turning down Hale Fen follow the brown and white Caravan & Camping signs,

These will bring you to the farm.

If its dark and you miss these follow the road till you come to a T junction turn LEFT the sign says dead end, follow the road for one and a half miles.

You will come to a Bungalow on your right with a high hedge there is a sign for Caves Farm Barns.

Imediately after the bungalow take the right hand fork round a blind corner, the road gets narrower.

Down to the bottom and then left up a tree lined driveway and you will arrive at the farm.

Call at the house on the left of the Barns to collect the keys to your cottage
