Eight lovingly restored and full of character cottages with beautiful exposed beams, unique stone and slate features and spacious country style interiors. A real home away from home. We also have four luxury Safari Tents which sleep 5-6. This is the ultimate Glamping Experience for families with coffee at the touch of a button, a fully fitted kitchen, decked terrace with private hot tub and access to all of Glynn Barton’s magical facilities.

We have excellent onsite facilties creating a safe space for the children to roam free and where the parents can relax! Enjoy our heated indoor swimming pool, hot tub, soft play and games barns, giant chess, archery barn, garden maze, giant outdoor fort, zipline, giant swing, swings, mini tractors and tennis court. Barbecue stations, pizza oven and honesty shop onsite along with private catering available and home made frozen meals by Fees Food.  Spa treatments are also available in your cottage for the ultimate relaxation.

We have lots to keep everyone busy at Glynn Barton. Join our morning animal feeding sessions to meet our miniature Shetlands & alpaca’s as well as the pigs, goats and donkeys. The favourite part of the day is collecting the eggs from the chicken coups. Take part in our weekly campfires & marshmallow toasting, treasure hunts and other interactive games. Follow the nature trail hunt or take to the Forestry England trails direct from our property

The master bedroom is a super-sized bedroom with attractive Super king divan bed and delightful double aspect through generous windows. The large twin bedroom is ideal for people of any age, as it provides plenty of space to share. Either room being able to accommodate a travel cot or two, Upstairs, is a fantastic substantial open-plan living space with original character open beamed ceiling. It has windows to two sides for ample natural light and is the perfect space to enjoy plenty of family fun or spread out and relax into two ample sofas in front of the gas cast-iron stove in addition to the central heating . The modern kitchen is similarly sized, with airy dining area. From the living area is another stylish family bathroom with lots of room for managing bath-time fun and logistics! The modern kitchen/diner area offers separate space to enjoy family mealtimes, with both areas benefiting from front facing windows with which to enjoy the views and some summer sunshine.

Situated on a single level, Old Stables is perfect for lazy summer days. Here you’ll discover a delightful open, family living space, with high beamed ceilings and plenty of natural light. Enjoy the Al Fresco living and open up the double entrance doors, with a worry-free slope leading out to a safe grass area. The living space includes a beautiful modern kitchen and dining table.

When the sun has set and night draws in, close the curtains and snuggle down on the large L shaped sofa in front of the feature gas cast iron stove, with your favourite book. The bathroom has space for the kids to splash about or, when they are safely tucked up in their beds, light some tea lights and pour a glass of wine for a relaxing bath after an exhilarating day.

The Old Stables is fully central heated and boasts one kingsize bedroom, 1 double bedroom and 1 bunk bed room for the kids.

A spacious cottage awaits you in the Tack Room, ideal for a family of 3 or a family of 4. With high beamed ceiling and large character windows, this is a light and airy, centrally heated cottage with bags of charm.

Cuddle up on the comfy sofas by the electric cast-iron stove on an autumn morning with a steaming cup of cocoa and enjoy the view from the calm and tranquility of your vantage point. In the summer spring open the large windows or enjoy the sunny aspect on the patio area outside and cottage green. There’s plenty of space and light in the beautiful, airy double bedroom, with iron bedstead and lots of room for a travel cot/toddler bed as required. There is also a mezzanine bedroom with a king size zip link bed which can be as a king or twin. Perfect if you have older kids (10+) or a space for the parents. Access is up a ladder.

The bathroom is elegantly fitted to complete this idyllic accommodation, ideal for young families starting out on their family holiday adventures or couples enjoying the serenity of a Cornish country break.

It’s a delight to leave the upper door open in the summer for a cool breeze & to hear the birdsong all around! Kick off your shoes, pass the neat bathroom and into a beautiful living area with original high beamed ceiling & gas cast-iron stove. Sit at the dining table with a steaming mug of tea & enjoy the far reaching views from your vantage point, or curl up on the sofas on a lazy autumn evening. The cottage is fully centrally heated for all year use, from February onwards you can see the new lambs playing in the field down the valley.

Both bedrooms enjoy fantastic views down the valley & across the Cornish countryside. Main bedroom has a lovely kingsize bedstead from where you can survey the views, whilst the 2nd bedroom has twin beds with ample space.

Glynn Barton Cottages are located on the road between Fletchersbridge and Cardinham. From the A30 follow signs to Bodmin leaving at the exit signed for A38 to Bodmin, Liskeard and Crematorium. Continue on the A38 towards Liskeard taking a left at the roundabout. Then take the first left (another roundabout) signed Fletchersbridge, Cardinham and Crematorium. Go through Fletchersbridge and continue up the hill. The entrance to the drive is located on the right hand side approximately one mile after the bridge with iron railings. Go into the woods and bear right following signs to Glynn Barton. After 2/3rds mile along drive you will come down a hill with the car park on your right and cottages on your left. Please use the parking area above the main car park if you are staying in the Store House. You will find trolleys in the carpark to move your luggage.
